Let's help her out!!

Hey all. Those of you who haven't purchased tickets should probably do so SOON!! Lauren needs to put a deposit down for the event and she can't pay out of her own pocket. Tickets were $35 before June 15 and now they are $38. Get them now before they become $45 per person. Here's the payment schedule:

Now, tickets are $38.00 ( a total steal--really)
per person after July 24th: $41.00
per person after August 9th: $45.00


Tickets will also be available at the door for $50 per person.

We are also currently looking for sponsors for our reunion. If anyone is interested in helping their fellow classmates enjoy the best possible atmosphere during the event, while also receiving some excellent goodwill publicity, then this is a great opportunity. The cost would be $250 dollars which includes 2 free reunion tickets and offers you the ability to advertise your company, display your logo, or simply subject us all to an inside joke from years gone by. We all know Lauren is a classy lady. This will be a fabulous event if we all buy our tickets ASAP and make it all possible.

Disease sends toddler back through time

We all remember Nikki Norman. Her little girl has been diagnosed with metachromatic leukodystrophy, a rare and terminal disease. Eliza has the late infantile form, the most common and most severe. Symptoms include muscle wasting and weakness, muscle rigidity, developmental delays, progressive vision loss, convulsions, trouble swallowing, paralysis and dementia. Most children with MLD do not live to age 5. The other forms start later and progress more slowly.

I advise all to read this article. It breaks my heart to hear about the pain Nikki's family is suffering but am so touched to see the strength and love she has for little Eliza. We are thinking about you Nikki and hopefully we can meet Eliza at the next "monthly birthday party."

Hey everyone and anyone,
So I'm really not one for mass emails, but for those of you who know (and remember), and love Marcie Madrid, she needs our help. Life has turned upside down for her and her little girl lately, and though your prayers are appreciated and needed, this is one situation where money talks. I know none of us are rich, but I am asking on her behalf for you to take a look at what you can spare and help her out. She is working so hard to make the best of a situation she does not deserve to be in. If you can find it in your hearts (i.e. wallets) to help her out, please, please take a field trip today to any Zion’s Bank and give what you can to the account set up in my name (Dayna McCormick) ending in 4934 or stop by my home and laugh at my 15 month pregnant self at 2785 S 2520 E in SLC and I will be wiring her money daily.
